The Process

“As an artist, I find inspiration in a vast array of sources. From the mesmerizing beauty of a brilliant photograph to the awe-inspiring videos on social media, I am constantly on the lookout for new ways to feed my creative soul. When I come across something mesmerizing, I immediately take a screen shot to inspire me as I create my own artwork. However, sometimes, my mood can significantly influence my creative process as well. When I feel stressed or anxious, I will sit down to paint as a way to calm myself, letting the colors and shapes take on a life of their own. My abstract work is often sparked by these emotional moments, and the colors I use are chosen with the utmost care. Bright reds, oranges, and pinks are my go-to colors when I want to invoke excitement and energy, while darker shades of blue, purple, and green represent tranquility, relaxation, and peace. Ultimately, my artwork is a reflection of my emotions, and the colors I employ are a deliberate effort to create a powerful impact on my audience and enable them to experience a little piece of my soul.”
